We have been waiting for weeks. I have had to put up with more prognosticating from Tif about the gender. "It's a girl because...." has been Tif's standard phrase the last month. If Tif Googled "3D Ultrasound" one more time, I think our computer was going to have a fit. Of course, I had my wishes too, but it's a lot of fun to mock Tif's ridiculousness. This was much better than the last ultrasound for Tif because they heated up the tummy goo. We first started out looking at the toes and fingers. The technician, who was so good, measured all the body partsas well as took measurements of the heart, brain and blood flow. The baby moved around a lot, but it was very cooperative and received his first A. That's right it's a he! Tif and I were very shocked, but I think having painted the baby room blue, we might have been asking for it. When I asked how sure she was, our technician said 100%. We'll get another look at him from 25-30 weeks so the technician can take more blood flow measurements, but we aren't complaining about getting another look!
